Epstein scandal: Donald Trump sues the Wall Street Journal for ten billion dollars

The authors “invented this story to damage President Trump’s reputation and integrity and to portray him in a false light,” says the lawsuit, which was obtained by the AFP news agency.

The newspaper's publisher, Dow Jones, said he would "defend himself vigorously" and cited his confidence in the "care and accuracy of our reporting."

On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported on a salacious letter Trump allegedly wrote to Epstein in 2003. According to the WSJ, the letter also included a sketch of a naked woman's body. Trump denied authorship of the letter and announced legal action against the newspaper.
