Hamburg: Accident in Dulsberg involving six cars – Two injured

Two people were injured in a traffic accident involving six vehicles in Hamburg on Tuesday evening. Considerable property damage was caused.

A serious traffic accident with considerable property damage occurred on Tuesday evening at an intersection in the Hamburg district of Dulsberg. A small car driver wanted to turn from Metzer Strasse into Straßburger Strasse and probably overlooked an off-road vehicle that had the right of way.

The violent collision caused the small car to spin 180 degrees and slightly collided with three cars parked on the side of the road facing the direction of travel. The driver of the SUV lost control of his vehicle, left the road and crashed sideways into a car parked on the median strip of Straßburger Straße. Fortunately, he only narrowly missed a tree.

A total of six vehicles were damaged. Two people were injured and were taken to hospital for further treatment. Straßburger Straße was completely closed for a time. The police have begun investigating the exact cause of the accident.
