Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom: Split at Jeff Bezos' wedding?

Numerous well-known celebrities are currently flocking to Venice to attend the wedding of the year: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez are getting married. Singer Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom are also on the guest list – but now the Pirates of the Caribbean star is said to have traveled without his partner, according to the magazine "musikexpress." Media reports claim the singer is too busy with her "The Lifetimes Tour" in Australia.
Rumors have been circulating for some time that pop singer Perry and actor Bloom have split. They were a couple for almost a decade, engaged for six of those years. Now, it's all over.
The Hollywood stars met at the Golden Globes in 2016, and their relationship became public shortly thereafter. After family vacations together and surprise parties, which Perry shared with her fans on her Instagram profile, the couple split for the first time in February 2017.
In March of the following year, Bloom and Perry reunited and appeared together on the red carpet for the first time in September. This was followed by an engagement (2019) and the birth of their child, Daisy Dove Bloom (August 2020).
The first rumors of a breakup surfaced after Perry's flight into space in April of last year. Together with Sánchez and other prominent women, the singer embarked on an eleven-minute trip into space with Bezos' space company, Blue Origin. Critics viewed the act as a misguided version of feminism, and the high environmental impact also caused an outcry.
According to the magazine "hola!", Bloom reportedly told his fiancée that "the whole thing seems ridiculous." The actor found Perry's space flight "embarrassing." Perry, on the other hand, would have liked more support from her fiancé: "Imagine you're flying into space and your partner doesn't support you."
But it wasn't just the space flight that is said to have caused tension between the couple. Professional setbacks, such as the flop of Perry's latest album, "143," and the sluggish tour sales for her current tour, are also said to be putting a strain on the relationship.

Bloom is also said to be displeased with the singer's closeness to Bezos and his fiancée. Not only did Perry and Sánchez fly into space together, the "I Kissed a Girl" singer also attended Sánchez's bachelorette party – along with other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, and Kris Jenner. Bezos is also said to be very fond of the singer. "Jeff is totally into Katy," a friend reportedly said.
According to the US magazine "Pagesix," Perry and Bloom have long since gone their separate ways behind the scenes. The Hollywood stars reportedly plan to announce the split after Perry's tour.
