Let's rock it...: With inflation and crises behind them – Canada's mega gold project is now going full steam ahead!

Let's rock it...: With inflation and crises behind them – Canada's mega gold project is now going full steam ahead!

Dear readers,

Added to this are the prospects of continued hesitancy in interest rate cuts by the Fed and persistently higher inflation , which puts gold even more prominently in the spotlight for investors as a portfolio diversification and fuels the gold price even more strongly.

Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) is entering this phenomenally favorable scenario with its exceptional asset, "Cariboo," with great news regarding its first-class development. This is also consistent with the fact that British Columbia still has a lot of catch-up potential in terms of gold production compared to other hotspots like Ontario and Quebec, which also plays into Osisko's hands .

Likewise, there is still some room for improvement in Canada as a whole.

Osisko Development is making great progress with its power project 'Cariboo'!

At Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G), it's all about full throttle to achieve its primary goal of becoming THE mid-sized gold producer in North America. And the dynamic, high-flyer company is making giant strides toward this goal . This is impressively demonstrated by the sensational progress Osisko is making at its high-grade, 100%-owned flagship project, "Cariboo."

Source: Osisko Development

Located in the heart of Canada's emerging gold district of British Columbia, Osisko's 192,000 hectare portfolio gem is perfectly embedded in the historic 'Wells-Barkerville' mining district , where a whopping 4 million ounces of gold were produced during its heyday and up until the late 1960s, which at today's gold price would equate to a sensational $7 billion .

Optimized feasibility study shows 'Cariboo' its powerful potential!

At the end of April, Osisko presented an optimized feasibility study for its permitted mega-gold project, Cariboo. The bottom line is a phenomenal net present value of CAD 943 million and an internal rate of return of a whopping 22.1% after taxes . These are , of course, only the baseline figures , assuming a conservative scenario of USD 2,400 per ounce of gold . However, as already explained above, the signs point to a much higher gold price. Therefore, assuming the more realistic assumption of USD 3,300 per ounce, Cariboo's net present value would be an incredible CAD 2.1 billion after taxes , while the internal rate of return would then be a generous 38% .

According to the optimized feasibility study , Cariboo's average annual production is also very generous , reaching a whopping 190,000 ounces of gold over a 10-year mine life and even reaching 202,000 ounces in the first five years .

All this with a magnificent grade of on average 3.62 g/t Au , a mega-metallurgical overall recovery of 92.6% and a fantastic concentrate recovery factor of 97.75% .

Source: Osisko Development

In contrast, the 'all-in' costs are narrow and are expected to average USD 1,157/ounce over the entire life of the mine, significantly below the industry average , placing 'Cariboo' clearly in the lower half of the global cost curve for gold mines.

The current feasibility study also optimized or enhanced the single-phase construction over 24 months and the direct ramp-up to a whopping 4,900 tonnes/day , with initial capital costs of CAD 881 million and sustaining capital of CAD 525 million over the life of the mine. Overall, Cariboo's "set card" could hardly be more sensational. This is all the more true given that the heavily mineralized deposit has so far only been drilled to an average depth of around 350 m and remains open along strike and at depth .

The opportunities to further increase Cariboo's profitability and to significantly extend the life of the planned mine by converting resources near mineral reserves through infill drilling are all the more gigantic .

Infill drilling at the QR target area returns a phenomenal 13.61 g/t Au over 4.15 m!

When we talk about promising infill drilling as a potential contribution to a substantial ounce increase , we cannot forget the record-breaking results from Osisko Developments' (WKN: A3DK8G) infill drilling near the former QR mine not far from Cariboo .

Source: Osisko Development

Finally, to validate historical exploration data , a whopping 13.61 g/t Au over 4.15 m was reported here at the beginning of the year.

The QR mine claim is located approximately 111 km from Osisko Development's (WKN: A3DK8G) flagship Cariboo gold project and was in operation between 1994 and 1998 , producing a total of just over 118,000 ounces of gold . However, due to the low gold price at the time, production was eventually discontinued.

In view of the current record price rally and the fact that the results reported by Osisko at the 'QR' mine confirm the historical data , the chances are increasing that there are still undiscovered gold-rich zones there and that their exploration could pay off enormously for Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) .

Third of five 'Tintic' payments completed!

In terms of formidable progress , Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) can report sensationally good news not only from 'Cariboo' . Its high-grade gold-silver-copper project 'Tintic' in Utah is also progressing rapidly and with focus. Osisko has now completed the third of a total of five payments for the 100% acquisition of 'Tintic', totaling approximately CAD 3.4 million, through the issuance of a total of over 1.3 million common shares.

Mind you , Tintic is the second largest metal producing district in Utah and there are 23 former producing mines on the property .

Source: Osisko Development

In addition, the magnificent 'claim' is also home to the rich 'Trixie' deposit with its whopping 150,000 ounces of gold and 478,000 ounces of silver at an impressive 19.11 g/t Au and 60.80 g/t Ag, respectively, in the 'Measured and Indicated' category.

Source: Osisko Development

In addition, only around 10% of the Trixie deposit has currently been explored , indicating additional phenomenal potential . Work at the Company's Trixie test mine is progressing rapidly , most notably with the breakthrough to the 625 level and the construction of the ramp . Thanks to underground access to a state-of-the-art , mechanized fleet , this will allow for faster and more cost-efficient mining of higher tonnages, thus significantly accelerating development and exploration activities at lower levels.

Source: Osisko Development

In this sense, the payment of the third 'Tintic' tranche also represents a first-class investment for Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) .

Fantastically positioned financially and in terms of personnel!

In order to maintain and increase the brilliant growth momentum overall, Osisko Development can rely on a solid cash cushion of CAD 77.6 million as of the end of March, while at the end of Q1 around CAD 35.7 million was outstanding as part of the deferred loan from the National Bank of Canada, which matures on October 31, 2025. In addition , the Canadian gold market up-and-comer has been able to gain an experienced manager in David Rouleau as Vice President Project Development . He has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry , including the segments that are so important for Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) such as feasibility studies , environmental impact assessments, permitting , construction and commissioning , expansion and continuous improvements .

Rouleau previously held similar leadership positions at Victoria Gold, Barkerville Gold Mines, Taseko Mines, and, most recently, the Gibraltar mine, which is also part of Osisko's illustrious portfolio. Overall, Rouleau's appointment represents Osisko's consistent strategy to systematically advance Cariboo to first production .

The appointment of Susan Craig as an independent director also contributes to this. A geologist with more than 35 years of experience in the mining industry, specifically in projects in Yukon and British Columbia , with a focus on regulatory , environmental , social , Indigenous , and community relations issues, her in-depth expertise will play a crucial role in such a key aspect as building lasting partnerships with Indigenous peoples .

Conclusion: Growth remains TOP 1 on Osisko’s agenda!

Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) has ignited the growth turbo . The optimized feasibility study for 'Cariboo' delivers razor-sharp economics and enormous exploration potential , while the secured 100% stake in 'Tintic' has already put the company on the right track . Additional tailwind comes from solid financing , fresh expertise at the top of its management , and a gold market ablaze with opportunity . With each milestone, Sean Roosen's vision moves closer: to establish Osisko Development (WKN: A3DK8G) as a new, powerful mid-tier gold producer in North America – ready to turn momentum into brilliant returns .

Best regards and maximum success with your investments,

Her
