Trump reports attack on three nuclear facilities in Iran

Washington – According to the White House, the United States has attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran. The targets are Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, the US government announced through various channels. US President Donald Trump called the attack a "successful attack." All aircraft are now out of Iranian airspace, the US president said on Saturday evening (East Coast Time). "A full load of bombs" was dropped on Fordow. All aircraft are safely on their way home. "Congratulations to our great American warriors, there is no other army in the world that could have done this." The US president added that now is the "time for peace." According to US media reports, B-2 bombers were also involved in the attacks. These can carry bunker-busting bombs that penetrate deep into the ground before detonating. The Fordow nuclear facility, which Trump had particularly highlighted, is located about 95 kilometers southwest of Tehran on a mountain slope and has a tunnel system that is said to reach 60 to 90 meters underground.
