On Sunday, news broke that Iran's National Security Council would soon decide on closing the Strait of Hormuz. If the council follows the parliamentary recommendation, the global oil supply would be partially disrupted. This is the typical reason for a stock market crash. But nothing of the sort happened on Monday: As in recent months, the financial markets are taking major crises in stride. But what happens if Iran really gets serious?
