Bella Hadid may not have been seen at the 2025 Met Gala , but all eyes were on her appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival . The model is known for sporting extraordinary fashion and beauty looks. Remember the sculptural bun that matched her gilded Schiaparelli boob jewelry? Or the loose bangs that complemented her high-slit Roberto Cavalli gown? Or the ruby-red lips that matched her red Dior gown?
However, upon arriving at the Hôtel Martinez, fans were in for a surprise: she has a new hair color. Wearing a white corset top with white bootcut pants, vintage Saint Laurent pumps with hearts, and a modern Saint Laurent Manhattan bag, Hadid showed off her now honey-blonde updo as she strolled into the hotel.

While most people know Bella Hadid as a brunette, the model is actually a naturally blonde—just like her sister Gigi Hadid, the queen of the flippy bob . "I just have a darker personality," she once told Allure in 2016. "So my sister is blonde and I'm brunette—it's a good separation."

Even then, she wasn't averse to returning to her natural hair color. "I put on a blonde wig once and thought it would be fun to be blonde again. But I'm happy with my dark hair. In 2019, for example, she wore a natural, streaky blonde with waves.
