Boho-chic: 4 styling ideas for the spring/summer 2025 trend – according to Chloé & Co

Boho chic is making a comeback this season thanks to Chloé & Co.: Here are four ways we can wear the trend from now on, according to the runway.

Chemena Kamali is the undisputed queen of boho chic with Chloé. Her first collection as the house's creative director, presented during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024/2025, revealed her very own vision for the traditional French label. Even the opening look hinted at where things were headed: The characteristic boho spirit – for which Chloé was already known under previous designers – was reinterpreted and powerfully brought into the present. This style will continue to characterize the coming season: For Spring/Summer 2025, Kamali is focusing on lightness in its purest form. The looks appear ethereal and carefree, with flowing silhouettes and transparent fabrics that evoke a new freedom. Are you ready for the revival of the iconic Chloé style of the late 1970s – a symbol of natural, confident, and effortless femininity?

We remember Kate Moss in a suede vest, fringed moccasins, and an oversized shirt, or Sienna Miller in a ruffled miniskirt, studded leather belt, and tank top. In the 2010s, both were considered symbols of the bohemian trend. The current boho chic is less rooted in grunge and more poetic, playful, and romantic. The look left a lasting impression on the Spring/Summer 2025 runways: While Chloé wowed with carefree bohemian-style creations, Etro and Simkhai opted for head-to-toe paisley and designs with flowing fringes. Below, we show you the four ways we'll be wearing boho chic this season, according to the runway .

#1 Boho chic with a flowing dress

How can you easily embrace boho chic? Opt for seductive creations that reveal without giving too much away, featuring flounces or pleats. On the Chloé runway, some dresses were skimpy, others were made of lace, but always in casual combinations, such as with jelly sandals.

Which of the dresses trending for spring/summer 2025 are particularly unusual? Crochet dresses with a boho look. We're not talking about traditional mesh dresses, but rather styles with floral monograms, special fringes, and fabrics that fit the boho style. Gabriela Hearst enchanted us with a long, floral crochet dress with a fringe hem and balloon sleeves in beige, which can be worn both on the beach with white sneakers and perfectly in the city.

#3 Boho chic with bouncing fringes

Fringe dresses are easy to wear (at least most of the time) and add a playful touch to any look. It seems as if designers and fashion houses had a lot of fun reinterpreting dresses in this way for Spring/Summer 2025. Fringes danced on numerous runways, exuding a bohemian flair.

#4 Boho chic with nostalgic paisley pattern

Its folkloric touch and psychedelic charm helped it gain a permanent place in fashion in the late 1960s, especially during the "Summer of Love" in 1967, which launched the hippie movement. The paisley print, the quintessential pattern of the 1970s, is back on the fashion radar this year, adorning the airy new additions to our wardrobes.
