According to information from the European Parliament, China is lifting the sanctions imposed on the German Green Party politician Reinhard Bütikofer around four years ago.

As the German Press Agency learned in Brussels, the office of Parliament President Roberta Metsola was informed of the move earlier this week. It is reportedly part of Beijing's efforts to resume dialogue with the parliament.
