At a march for Israeli Hamas hostages in the US state of Colorado, a man threw Molotov cocktails at the participants. The FBI is investigating the attack as a terrorist act. Several people were reportedly injured, and one suspect was arrested.

The FBI is investigating an attack on the street in the US state of Colorado that left several people injured. The incident occurred this afternoon (local time) in the city of Boulder, and a suspect has been arrested, the city's police chief, Steve Redfearn, said at a press conference. While FBI Director Kash Patel spoke on Platform X of a "targeted terrorist attack" in the city, the local police chief said it was far too early to speculate on the motive.

"We are not talking about a terrorist attack at this point," Redfearn said. According to him, a pro-Israel group was at the scene, demonstrating peacefully. Police are currently trying to determine whether this group or other individuals were attacked. CBS News, citing witnesses at the scene, reported that a suspicious individual attacked people participating in a march commemorating the Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip with Molotov cocktails.

According to the police chief, the victims of the attack were taken to the hospital with burns and other injuries. Police arrested a man who was carrying a gun and "setting people on fire." According to Redfearn, the suspect has not yet been identified and is in the hospital. The incident in Boulder occurred near a memorial trail for the Israeli hostages remaining in Gaza.

The Jewish organization Anti-Defamation League, for its part, informed X that it had received "reports of an attack on today's 'Boulder Run for Their Lives' event." The state's governor, Democrat Jared Polis, wrote to X that his thoughts were with the people "harmed and affected by this hateful act of terror."
