Höxter-Albaxen - An off-road vehicle came to a stop in an unusual location after a traffic accident on August 1, 2025, at 2:53 p.m., in Höxter-Albaxen.

Vehicle comes to a stop on guardrail - driver slightly injured. When police officers arrived, the vehicle's entire right side was on a guardrail at the scene of the accident.
The 20-year-old driver from Boffzen had previously turned left from Hansastraße onto the B64 in the direction of Stahle. He lost control of his vehicle on the wet road, veered off the road to the right, and then came to a stop on the adjacent guardrail.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries in the traffic accident. No medical treatment was required at the scene.
His 17-year-old passenger from Hildesheim remained uninjured.
According to initial estimates, the total damage was in the mid-four-figure range. The SUV had to be removed from the guardrail with a crane. (DL)
