|An assassin disguised as a police officer shot a Democratic senator and his wife multiple times, then drove to a Democratic woman's residence and shot her and her husband. The fleeing perpetrator apparently had other targets.
In the middle of Saturday night, a man dressed as a police officer drove up to the home of Democratic politicians in Minnesota . The car reportedly looked like a patrol car. Then the shots rang out. Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were seriously injured in their home in Champlin, near Minneapolis. Doctors are fighting for their lives in a hospital. Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, who lived a few miles away in Brooklyn Park, are dead. Shot.
