Out of date since 1905: The world stage is back

After 32 years, the legendary "Blättchen" of the Weimar years has been resurrected. Its opponents are the same as they were 100 years ago: war rhetoricians and those subservient to authority.
The Weltbühne is published every third Tuesday of the month, in print and as an ePaper.
Red, thin, never particularly high-circulation even in its best years in Weimar, and in a modest A5 format – yet a name like thunder: Die Weltbühne. To be its author, to be allowed to write alongside greats like Kurt Tucholsky, Lion Feuchtwanger, Thomas Mann, and Alfred Polgar, was a true accolade.
