Stuttgart - At the cup match in Berlin, LBBW will be on the VfB Stuttgart's chest ring for the first time.

The anticipation of the DFB Cup final on May 24 against Arminia Bielefeld will be accompanied by a special premiere for VfB Stuttgart and LBBW: for the first time, the bank's logo will adorn the VfB professional team's chest band.

"It's a great pleasure and honor for us to accompany VfB on such a significant day and to celebrate our debut on the Brustring at the cup final. This final is a powerful symbol of passion, commitment, and team spirit – exactly what LBBW stands for," says CEO Rainer Neske. "We're delighted that our debut as main sponsor is being marked in this special way and will be cheering on the team tonight."

The decision to change its jersey sponsor at short notice was necessary from a business perspective for VfB Stuttgart. In this challenging situation for the club, LBBW has signaled its willingness to take over the position on the jersey.

The bank has been the exclusive partner of VfB Stuttgart and the main partner in its youth development program since the 2024/25 season. Starting next season, LBBW will become the club's main sponsor. The initial logo appearance on the professional team's chest band was therefore originally planned for the start of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season.

The partnership between LBBW and VfB Stuttgart marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration: The contract as main sponsor of the Bundesliga team runs for three seasons, starting with the start of the 2025/2026 season.
