The investment company Mutares wants to take over the fruit and vegetable logistics company Fuentes.

Mutares acquires Spanish fresh food logistics company Fuentes
The company is planning to generate revenue of just under €200 million this year, Mutares announced in Munich on Monday. The seller is the Spanish Lineage Group. Mutares did not disclose the purchase price. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter.
With the acquisition, Mutares aims to expand its Goods & Services business. Fuentes, headquartered in Las Torres des Cotillas, specializes in the refrigerated transport of food, primarily fruit and vegetables.
Mutares has so far forecast an increase in revenue from just under 5.3 billion euros to between 6.5 and 7.5 billion euros this year. The company temporarily withdrew from the SDax small-cap index in May due to a delay in submitting its audited financial statements for 2024. Mutares has rejoined the index since June 23.
