War of words between US radio host and president

Washington. After US radio host Charlamagne Tha God criticized President Donald Trump, he responded on social media. Charlmagne Tha God, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, knows nothing about him or what he has done, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Sunday (local time). Trump called Charlamagne a "moron" who voted for former Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. He also called Charlamagne a "racist creep" and criticized the use of the word "God" in his stage name. "Can anyone imagine the outcry if I used a nickname like that?" Trump asked.
The popular radio host in the US had a negative assessment of Trump's presidency on the Fox News show "My View with Lara Trump." The reason for this was that "the most vulnerable among us are still the hardest hit," Charlamagne said in a conversation with Trump's daughter-in-law.
Charlamagne was particularly critical of the newly passed tax law. Although he would personally benefit from the tax relief, he emphasized that many people could be disadvantaged as a result. He rejected cuts to social security benefits, adding that this would put people at a disadvantage financially.
In his assessment, a "political upheaval" is currently taking place among Republicans that is receiving little attention. "I believe this Epstein affair will be an opportunity for traditional conservatives to reclaim their party," he said, referring to the controversy surrounding Trump's handling of documents related to the deceased and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. "I think they know this issue has riled up the base, the MAGA base isn't letting go of this issue, and for the first time, they can probably reclaim their party without upsetting the MAGA base. I think that's exactly what they're going to do," he said.
Charlamagne, co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show "The Breakfast Club," also emphasized in an interview with Lara Trump that his criticism of the Republican president was nothing new. He also sharply criticized former President Joe Biden when he felt the Democrat wasn't doing a good job.
