Anisimova vs. Sabalenka: Watch the Wimbledon semifinal live here

In the first women's tennis semifinal at Wimbledon, American Amanda Anisimova will face world number one Aryna Sabalenka. The Belarusian had previously narrowly defeated Laura Siegemund, who had surprisingly reached the quarterfinals.

Wimbledon: Amazon Prime broadcasts exclusively – linear TV misses out

Many experts consider Sabalenka the absolute favorite for the title in London. She already won the Australian Open in 2023, and then the Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne and the US Open again in 2024. However, she has yet to achieve the coveted triumph on the hallowed turf of Wimbledon. One thing is already certain: there will definitely be a new Wimbledon champion this year. This year, streaming provider Amazon Prime secured exclusive rights to the Grand Slam tournament in London for the first time. Customers must purchase a paid membership. The matches can then be watched in the Prime Video app or on the website. An annual Amazon Prime subscription currently costs €89.90, and a cancelable monthly subscription costs €8.99.
