Liverpool FC is the English football champion, celebrating its first title since the Jürgen Klopp era. Dutch coach Arne Slot's team comfortably defeated Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 (3-1) on Matchday 34 of the Premier League and, with a 15-point lead, can no longer be caught by second-placed Arsenal.
Luis Diaz (16th minute), Alexis Mac Allister (24th), Cody Gakpo (34th), and Mohamed Salah (63rd), who celebrated his 28th goal of the season with a selfie, scored for the clearly superior hosts at Anfield. Tottenham's Destiny Udogie also scored an own goal (69th).
