The German U21 team faces a tough test in the semifinals of the European Football Championship. Their opponents are France. Their record has room for improvement.

The German U21 national team is aiming for the final of the European Football Championship in Slovakia on Wednesday (9:00 p.m./Sat.1). Their opponent in the semifinal in Kosice is France, led by former Bayern Munich star Mathys Tel. They are facing a team with a lot of quality, especially in attack, said U21 national coach Antonio Di Salvo.
