Hamburg lose top scorer"Given his performance, we would have loved to keep him with us and demonstrated this by exercising the purchase option," said St. Pauli's sporting director Andreas Bornemann. However, the final decision on the player's future rested with Lens.
The attacking player joined Hamburg on loan last summer. Guilavogui made 27 competitive appearances, scoring seven goals (a team-high) and providing four assists.
