VfB party night after cup victory: Even with DFB Cup: Hoeneß doubts Berghain access

VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß lived in Berlin for a long time. In a ZDF interview with Katrin Müller-Hohenstein, he makes a mischievous statement about the notorious club after the cup win.
The infamous Berlin club Berghain will likely not be the destination for the cup winners from VfB Stuttgart. Coach Sebastian Hoeneß himself expressed doubts in a ZDF interview with Katrin Müller-Hohenstein that his team would even make it past Germany's toughest door.
When the presenter inquired about the party plans and suggested a visit to the hip techno club—with the DFB Cup in tow—Hoeneß said: "I don't think the bouncers at Berghain care. I remember that from before, so we'll see."
The club's strict door policy and long waiting lines are legendary. In his younger years, Hoeneß spent time playing for Hertha's reserve team in Berlin, and later worked as a coach in Zehlendorf. Now he's won his first DFB Cup in the capital after a 4-2 final victory against Arminia Bielefeld.
