Women’s European Championship 2025: Denmark in team check – one-woman show?

Andrée Jeglertz once described himself as a "control freak" in an interview. The man boasts an impressive Scandinavian résumé: Born and playing football in Sweden, he coached the Finnish women's national team from 2010 to 2016 and has been head coach of the Danish women's team since 2023. Since then, he has tried to apply his philosophy to the national team: "I want us to take the initiative in games – both with and without the ball." And something else is important to Jeglertz: "My job is to ensure that the players continue to be seen as great idols in the future."
