|World number three Alexander Zverev lost his quarterfinal in Paris to tennis tactician Novak Djokovic, who is ten years his senior. He must continue to hope for his first Grand Slam title – and develop new strategies.
He fended off four match points, the last of which was a smash, before a volley sailed out of bounds. But Alexander Zverev had already lost this quarterfinal in Paris much earlier, by the time his confidence evaporated on Court Philippe-Chatrier. "He's still beating the best of the best," he said of Novak Djokovic with a hint of despair in his voice. "You have to accept that."
