Club World Cup quarterfinals: schedule, dates, and team lineups


The final stretch of the Club World Cup has begun. Only eight teams remain from the 32 that started the tournament, and they will contest the quarterfinals this Friday and Saturday. Fluminense vs. Al-Hilal will be the first match of this round. The Brazilian team plays against the Saudi Arabian team after defeating Inter Milan 2-0 in the round of 16. Al-Hilal pulled off a surprise by defeating Manchester City 3-4 in a match that went to extra time.
The remaining matches will be played on Saturday: Palmeiras vs. Chelsea, PSG vs. Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund. Palmeiras reached the quarterfinals after eliminating Botafogo 1-0, while Chelsea did the same against Benfica 4-1 in a match that lasted more than four hours due to a lengthy stoppage caused by thunderstorms. PSG remains in the tournament after beating Inter Miami 4-0 , while their rivals, Bayern Munich, defeated Flamengo 4-2 in the round of 16. Real Madrid won 1-0 with a solo goal from Gonzalo against Juve, while Borussia Dortmund beat Monterrey 2-1 to secure their place in the quarterfinals.

The semifinal matches will be played on Tuesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 9, and the final will take place on Sunday, July 13.

DAZN, for its part, will also offer all 63 matches of the 2025 Club World Cup for free. Users only need to register for an account to watch the matches.
