Coahuila in that period also registered a Partial Employment and Unemployment Rate of 8.5% , a General Pressure Rate of 6.7%, Salaried Work of 77.4%, Underemployment of 5.7%, Critical Employment Conditions of 28.2%, Labor Informality of 35.4% and Employment in the Informal Sector of 21.8%.
In fact, the Informal Employment Rate was the third lowest in the country , only Nuevo León with 33.3% and Chihuahua with 35.2% had lower rates.
SALTILLO METROPOLITAN AREA
In 4Q24, the Saltillo metropolitan area had an Employed Population of 505,142 people and an Unemployed Population of 17,242 people, with a Participation Rate of 62.2% and an Unemployment Rate of 3.3%.
Additionally, other rates reported that quarter were the Partial Employment and Unemployment Rate 6.7%, General Pressure 5.1%, Salaried Work 82.5%, Underemployment 2.0%, Critical Employment Conditions 20.1%, Labor Informality 25.7% and Employment in the Informal Sector 16.8%.
In the case of the Informal Employment Rate, the lowest percentages were found in Saltillo, followed by Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez.
