Colombia: He hides drugs in his toupee and is caught at Cartagena airport (VIDEO)

A video went viral on social media , showing the ingenuity and creativity when trying to carry out illegal activities . Such is the case of a subject who tried to traffic doses of drugs through the Rafael Núñez Airport in the city of Cartagena , Colombia .
The man is believed to have tried to pass through security checkpoints to continue his journey to Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

DRUG DOSES SEIZED
According to the shared clip, security guards noticed an unknown object, just as the subject, apparently 40 years old, passed through the security filter.
When the authorities search the man, they ask him to remove his cap, as the object seemed to be 'hiding' on his head. A guard then begins to cut off the man's toupee with scissors.
Once the circumference of the wig was cut, it was observed that several packages of a white substance were hidden underneath it, which, when analyzed by a drug test, turned out to be cocaine , divided into 400 doses distributed in 19 capsules, totaling almost 220 grams.
At the end, a police officer can be heard telling him his rights when he is placed under arrest. “ Citizens are key in the fight against drug trafficking. We invite everyone to report anonymously to continue dismantling these criminal networks ,” can be heard.

It is believed that the transported drugs were valued at 42 million Colombian pesos , equivalent to approximately more than 10 thousand dollars.
The man was now placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.
