Construction work on the A-2 causes massive traffic jams and congests the Plaza area during rush hour.
The traffic jams affected both the highway connecting Madrid and Barcelona, as well as the Z-40 ring road.
Construction work on the A-2 highway in Zaragoza is causing heavy traffic jams in the vicinity of the Plaza industrial estate . The roadworks have forced the closure of the Barcelona-bound carriageway, and traffic has been diverted onto the Madrid-bound highway.
According to sources from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), the roadworks being carried out on the A-2 highway in Zaragoza will cause traffic jams throughout the week due to the closure of several entrances and exits to the Plaza industrial estate, one of the busiest in the Aragonese capital.
