Feijóo sees a government with "no escape route" and points to President Sánchez: "He knew it and looked the other way."

The PP knows that Pedro Sánchez's administration and the president himself are on the ropes . And, as in boxing, when an opponent shows signs of weakness and takes refuge in the ropes, it's not the time to let up or give them air. Quite the opposite. The PP leadership is aware of this, and its president, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, is one of the most aware. "They have to surrender to democracy and justice. There's no escape, neither Sánchez nor his party. He knew it and looked the other way. He lied again ," the opposition leader asserted.

"It deserves to be cooked up in its own plot," Feijóo insisted, accompanied in Malaga by the Andalusian president, Juanma Moreno , and the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre. "It is we who do not deserve to suffer this degradation. They are cornered by their lies and by a people who want to regain their dignity. We cannot be hostages to the criminality of their own government. Let them tell what they know, return what they stole, and make way for democracy ," the Génova 13 leader insisted.

Feijóo recalled the criticism from the Socialists just a week ago for the PP rally in Madrid under the slogan "Mafia or democracy." "They acted arrogantly, but we got the demonstration right, and that bothered them. But the thing is, the only thing you can call a mafia is a mafia ," he recalled, amid chants of "Pedro Sánchez, resign." "It's astonishing. They said we had a failure, that no one was there. This is coming from the same person who can't go out on the streets," he reiterated.

Against the "mafia," he noted, there is the "honest politics" he has championed during his more than 30 years in politics. "No one from my government or my team has ever been charged with corruption, and it's been 30 years, never . This corruption scandalizes me as a citizen and disgusts me as a politician. Politics is either honest or it isn't politics. "As long as I am president of the Popular Party, whoever steals will be thrown out," he has emphasized on several occasions.

The top leader of the Popular Party (PP) has expressed his commitment to bringing "the civic reaction against Sánchez" to the polls. "But it's not just about kicking them out; we have to propose an alternative. We're going to turn the page and ensure that these levels of degradation never happen again." Feijóo also promised that, if he wins the Moncloa presidency, he will reinstate the crimes of illegal referendums and sedition and toughen the requirements for those high-ranking officials in the administration.

Feijóo wanted to send a message to the Executive's partners and members of the Government. "Neither those who have put their hand in the fire and have both arms on fire, nor those who pretend it's not their problem. They will all fall: the party, Sánchez, and his Government ." And the barb to the partners: "If you continue to stand by Sánchez, you will no longer be his partners, you will be his accomplices and cover-ups," he warned.

Finally, and in response to the growing number of voices—including that of Santiago Abascal—calling on the PP to call a vote of no confidence, Feijóo left one last message: "I know you're outraged, but this isn't about letting off steam one day. Our way of letting off steam will be to kick them out, close this era, and begin a new era. This is about doing it right, to kick them out once and for all, with a sensible, measured, and coherent strategy. Our mission will end until then ," the PP leader concluded, reminding everyone—both inside and outside—that he is the one at the helm of the opposition against the government.
