Gaza ceasefire live

After remaining in five positions in Lebanon, in violation of the ceasefire, the Israeli army has set a new objective in another neighbouring country: to prevent the presence in southern Syria of the new army that emerged from the fall of Bashar al-Assad. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put it into words on Sunday, and the military aviation turned it into action late on Tuesday, with a wave of bombings 13 kilometres south of the capital, Damascus, and in the province of Deraa, bordering Jordan. Israel already took advantage of the confusion after the end of the war in Syria last December to destroy, in the largest air operation in its history, most of the strategic capabilities of the Syrian army and invade - for the first time in half a century - part of the demilitarised zone. Now, Netanyahu assures that they will remain there "indefinitely" and demands the "full demilitarisation" of all of southern Syria.
