ISSSTE Law: SNTE confirms that it will not apply to this sector

The National Union of Education Workers ( SNTE ) stated that the changes planned by the reform to the ISSSTE law will not apply to this sector.

This is during the beginning of the consultation forums to establish a new system that involves all members of the SNTE, which are taking place in the Chamber of Deputies.

It is worth remembering that the ISSSTE (Institute of Social Security and Services for Workers) law has generated various mobilizations by education workers, who have indicated that they would be affected by this reform.

Alfonso Cepeda , current leader of the SNTE, spoke out regarding the upcoming reform to the ISSSTE law.

During his participation in Congress, he assured that the increase in ISSSTE fees will not affect the members of the SNTE .

Alfonso Cepeda reiterated that This takes place after reaching a compromise with President Claudia Sheinbaum , so that the working class is not affected .

For this reason and in compliance with this commitment, it was agreed that there will be no additional deductions from the salaries received by teachers.
