Kristi Noem accuses Claudia Sheinbaum of encouraging more Mexican protests in Los Angeles.

Kristi Noem accuses Claudia Sheinbaum of encouraging more Mexican protests in Los Angeles.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem accused Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum of encourage protests in Los Angeles, California , after the Mexican president called on the Mexican community to “ not be provoked .”

From the Oval Office of the White House in Washington DC, during a meeting with US President Donald Trump , Noem criticized Sheinbaum for her statements regarding the clashes that occurred during the protests in Los Angeles .

Kristi Noem condemned Sheinbaum after remarks about protests in Los Angeles.

He claimed that the Mexican president had incited Mexican and other migrants to continue their violent protests .

Claudia Sheinbaum came out and incited more protests in Los Angeles , and I condemn her for that. She should not be encouraging the violent protests that are happening,” Secretary Kristi Noem said alongside Trump .

The official also expressed her support for the U.S. president, stating that Trump is doing an excellent job and that she is proud that the Department of Homeland Security has deployed more than 4,000 armed forces personnel , who will remain in various areas " until the violence stops " during the protests.

The demonstrations, called to protest the raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service ( ICE ), have led to clashes between federal agents and protesters, mostly migrants , including Mexicans .

Previously, Claudia Sheinbaum had pointed out that Los Angeles “wouldn’t be what it is” without the Mexicans who live there , stating that “ they emigrate out of necessity and send money back to their families .” He also argued that “ they are not criminals ,” as Trump has previously accused them of.
