Three dead and at least 67 injured in a new wave of Iranian attacks against Israel.
Three people have been killed and at least 67 injured in Iran's ninth wave of missile attacks against Israel, Israeli media reported early Monday.
Shortly before the missiles hit, the Israel Defense Forces had issued a warning about the bombing and urged residents to seek shelter. According to The Jerusalem Post , medical teams treated 67 injured people in three areas of central Israel, including a 10-year-old boy who is in serious condition.
In the Petah Tikva municipality, a missile hit a building, while police reported two missiles fell in Tel Aviv.
The Times of Israel reported that 67 people had been taken to hospitals, including one woman in serious condition, six with moderate injuries, and the rest with minor injuries or episodes of acute anxiety.
The Israeli offensive against Iran began early Friday morning and has since destroyed important Iranian military, energy, and nuclear infrastructure. It has also killed members of Iran's military leadership and scientists leading Tehran's uranium enrichment projects.
Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour confirmed this Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli attacks since Friday has reached 224, with more than 1,000 injured. Iran, for its part, has killed 16 people in Israel. (Efe)
