Lemus updates the case of missing police officers from Teocaltiche

The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, confirms that the search continues for the municipal police officers of Teocaltiche who remain missing .

In total, 8 elements, plus a civilian, apparently a driver, were reported missing on February 18, while they were heading to Guadalajara .

In this regard, the state leader reported that a call was detected that allegedly corresponded to one of the missing officers, who had contacted a family member to inform them of his situation .

"On Saturday there was a call, supposedly, I want to make this clear, from one of the missing elements who had contact with his sister to ask her to inform his mother, telling them that they were being taken to an unknown place, therefore, this hope remains alive of being able to locate them safely."

The call in question could not be traced , the governor acknowledged.

The president said that they are still searching for the officers, with operations in the Altos Norte and Sur areas .

On the other hand, Pablo Lemus confirmed the disappearance of a family of four who disappeared while heading from the municipality of Tequila to Apatzingán, Michoacán.

"What we know is that this family left the municipality of Tequila and remained in contact with their relatives until they entered the state of Michoacán, after several hours of being in the state of Michoacán. They lost contact with this family."

Lemus assured that they are willing to provide coordination with the government of Michoacán.

They are Ana Isabel, 47 years old, Ramiro González, 44, Juan Carlos, 22, and María de Jesús, 33, of whom nothing has been known since February 20 and whose last location was apparently given in the municipality of Queréndaro .
