LFT: How many public holidays will there be in March 2025?

Public holidays in Mexico are specific dates designated on official calendars, and are usually days off from work or school. These dates are usually to commemorate historical, social or cultural events.
The month of March will have 31 days, among which some stand out for their importance at the national and international level, which include days of rest supported by official institutions and the Federal Labor Law (LFT) .
Which days in March have mandatory rest?March 17th commemorates the birth of Benito Juárez, March 21, 1806, and is considered an official holiday by article 74 of the Federal Labor Law . According to article 75 of the LFT, employees who work on this date must receive double or triple their salary , as the case may be.

On this third Monday of the month, we will honor the “Benefactor of the Americas,” Benito Juárez, one of the most important figures in the history of Mexico.
