Marina del Pilar denounces and condemns cyber attack at the Digital Defenders Summit

The president of the National Conference of Governors (Conago) and governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila , denounced the cyber attack that occurred during the First Latin American Summit of Digital Defenders , an event that she condemned.
As a representative of Conago , the state leader pointed out, without giving further details of the incident, that it is an event that significantly violates the privacy and digital autonomy of the participants, "showing how technologies can be used to reproduce dynamics of violence against women."

She said that by breaking into a space designed to defend rights, this attack not only violates the privacy and dignity of those affected, but also seeks to delegitimize their participation in the digital public sphere, reinforcing the barriers that have historically limited their access to safe and violence-free environments.

Marina del Pilar supports Sheinbaum's workIn this context, she supported the work led by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo , whose administration, she said, has placed the fight against gender violence as a national priority, promoting concrete actions to eradicate all forms of aggression against women, including digital violence.
