State highlights event offerings such as the San Buenaventura Fair

SAN BUENAVENTURA.- In an atmosphere of celebration, tradition and family gatherings, the governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas , led the Parade of the 80th anniversary of the San Buenaventura Fair 2025, where he highlighted that the state is consolidating itself as a national benchmark in the organization of large events, thanks to its conditions of security, order and development.

Accompanied by hundreds of riders, families, and municipal and state authorities, the President celebrated the atmosphere of unity and peace experienced during the traditional parade, a symbol of Coahuilense roots and identity.

“It's always a pleasure to greet our people and share our traditions. Thank you for so much!” the governor said.

Jiménez Salinas emphasized that security in the state has allowed for the holding of fairs, festivals, parades, and high-impact sporting and cultural events in all regions: North, Carbonífera, Laguna, Southeast, and Central-Desert.

The San Buena Parade, on this 80th anniversary of one of the most important fairs in our state, always has a great party, a great atmosphere, and thousands of families living together in peace and tranquility, enjoying this great Coahuiltexan culture ,” he said in his message to those in attendance.

During his address, the President took the opportunity to invite Coahuila residents and visitors from other states—and from South Texas—to tour the various Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) of Coahuila and enjoy the tourist attractions in each region. He mentioned destinations such as Arteaga, Parras, General Cepeda, Cuatro Ciénegas, and Viesca, among others, and highlighted the natural, cultural, and religious riches the state offers during the summer holidays.

The message is clear: there's always something to do in Coahuila. There's something for everyone, from the mountains and wine to religious tourism and the Desert Museum. Let people come, discover, and enjoy what's ours, ” he noted.

The Governor acknowledged that the success of these events would not be possible without the coordinated participation of the state government, municipalities, citizens, security forces, and emergency services. "Peace and security are not decreed; they are built every day through hard work and coordination," he stated.

He noted that Coahuila remains among the safest states in the country, a condition that not only guarantees the peace of its inhabitants but also boosts economic and tourism development. “Where there is peace, there is development. Where there is security, there is joy, ” he added.

The 2025 San Buenaventura Fair , one of the most anticipated in the Central region, is part of the State Government's strategy to project the cultural richness, spirit of unity, and hospitality of the people of Coahuila.
