The Gaza Strip records more than 61,300 Palestinian deaths in Israel's war against Hamas.
The Gaza Ministry of Health recorded 11 deaths from causes related to hunger and malnutrition in Gaza Strip hospitals throughout Friday, according to the daily report on war deaths released Saturday.

What's happening with hunger in the Gaza Strip?
Regarding the deaths from hunger in Gaza this Friday, all 11 were adults, bringing the death toll from hunger since the Israeli offensive against the Strip began, following Hamas' attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, to 212, of whom 98 were minors, according to the enclave's health authorities.

In addition, rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered the body of a Gazan who died a few days earlier and was buried under the rubble.
Italy carries out the first delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza
The Italian Ministry of Defense announced that the country's first plane took flight this Saturday, delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. For the time being, the plane will fly once a day for a week.
The ministry released footage of an Italian Air Force C-130J transport aircraft slowly moving down the runway before taxiing for takeoff as part of "Solidarity Path Operation 2," the humanitarian bridge supporting the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
Italy will provide approximately 100 tons of goods, including food and essential items, transported to Amman on a civilian flight and stored on pallets, which will be loaded onto aircraft for air delivery.

The mission consists of a daily airdrop for approximately one week, involving Air Force crews and Army personnel specialized in cargo preparation.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense had contributed to aid in Gaza with the hospital ship "Vulcano," medical flights for injured children, and the distribution of medicines via army helicopters.
In the X post accompanying the video, the ministry writes: "The first flight takes off to parachute humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. Defense is always there, wherever and whenever it is needed."
