The Pentagon will deploy more than 4,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel to areas of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as a nuclear submarine, aircraft, and destroyer ships, in its effort to contain drug cartels it now considers terrorists, CNN reported yesterday.
