The visa of discord

The news was released on Sunday morning, allowing it to circulate freely for a full day before the truth became clear on Monday morning. First, the visa was revoked for the husband of the Morena governor, Carlos Torres, and then for the state governor, Marina del Pilar.
Mexico has not received notification from the Donald Trump administration regarding the cancellation.
"We haven't received any notification from the United States government. We learned about it yesterday from the statement issued by the governor herself, and we're waiting to receive the information. We're not going to get ahead of ourselves," the President stated.
What Trump did was throw the Mexican opposition a bone to chew on and buy airtime in media outlets that are sympathetic to him.
The opposition immediately began demanding clarification without knowing the reason for the measure. In other words, they are so hungry for evidence to criticize the government that a single news article is enough to launch an entire communications strategy against it.
In the inertia of blaming the governor of Baja California and her husband for everything possible, it was implied that they were linked to drug trafficking. The audacity of the false lies of some media outlets knows no bounds; they extend as far as their hatred and imagination can reach.
"We'll wait for the information before issuing any communication about why these visas were revoked. And all the articles we were already informed about—nothing, we weren't informed."
Carlos Torres clarified that this is "an administrative measure" by the neighboring country's government that "does not represent an accusation, investigation, or formal accusation by any authority, either in Mexico or the United States."
The paranoia of US governments has been known around the world for many years, and one of those hallucinations began to manifest itself when the couple traveled to the neighboring country three years ago to a clinic in Brawley, California, for the birth of their daughter on January 15, 2022. This is why she holds dual nationality. The audits ordered by Trump since returning to power revived old files to track enemies. This made this unimportant incident a pretext for a series of measures that border on the absurd. But Trump, who is a people-pleaser, must have given the Mexican opposition a gift, because he knows he can count on them and they are loyal to him, and he may need them.
In reality, it was a feast for the PAN and MC members. Added to this illusory anecdote was the proximity of the border, Baja California's history of migrant custody, and the proliferation of drug and weapons sales, and they decided to launch an attack without following the protocol rules of notifying the highest authorities of the decision, since they involve high-level officials in the Mexican government. The reasons can be kept a state secret, but as long as the notification guidelines are not followed, the visa revocation will be merely a media factor, with no legal or political validity.
Every morning, the opposition brings militants disguised as reporters into the National Palace, attempting to draw swords between the two governments. The President always reacts with the same refrain: "You're not going to make me fight." The opposition cannot confront the government and looks outside Mexico for someone who can erode the President's sympathy and popularity, which is why they have Trump as their improvised leader.
