This is the innovative wireless charger for electric bikes that aims to become a benchmark.

Electric bicycles offer an affordable and sustainable form of mobility for comfortably traveling through increasingly traffic-clogged cities. However, finding battery charging stations can be a challenge if the available range isn't calculated well in advance.
From the Netherlands comes a novel charging solution that competes directly with home wall chargers and is truly simple to use and install. Tiler is the developer behind the Compact wireless charger, a new generation that's more affordable and easier to install than its predecessor, the Tiler Uno.

The operation of this new charging system is quite simple, as it only requires two parts: one that is installed on the bike and is shaped like a kickstand, and another, which is a small, ultra-thin charging base that is fixed to the ground and connected to a nearby outlet (this outlet can power up to 24 bases at once).
The unique kickstand is an electronic device that replaces the factory one and connects to the e-bike's charging port or battery, allowing it to be charged via the Tiler Compact base. Once the e-bike's battery is depleted, you find a nearby charging base, place the kickstand in the designated area, and wait the appropriate amount of time, depending on the battery's charge level.
The charging station weighs no more than 2 kg in total, offers 150 W, and, using a 500 Wh, 36 V battery as an example, takes 3.5 hours to fully recharge. The entire process is performed using induction and is completely safe.

According to the manufacturer, the revolutionary wireless charger fits more than 80% of e-bike systems on the market, being compatible with brands such as Bosch, Bafang, and Yamaha. This revolutionary system could begin to change the urban landscape, as some of the bulky charging stations that take up space on sidewalks or streets would no longer be necessary.
Tiler's bases are truly small and barely protrude from the ground, keeping the urban landscape as uncluttered as possible. It can even be configured as a simple mass charging center, opening up a potential market for companies considering opening fleet charging stations.
Another advantage is its reasonably affordable price (around €250), much lower than other charging stations available. Pre-orders are now available on the manufacturer's website. In the video attached to this article, you'll find more information about how this original creation works.
