Two people injured, one seriously, when a parked vehicle caught fire in Añézcar (Navarra).

Two people have been injured, one of them in serious condition, after a vehicle that was parked in the municipality of Añézcar ( Navarra ) caught fire.
The fire spread to a house located about three meters from where the vehicle was parked, although it has been brought under control without causing significant damage, reports 112-SOS Navarra .
The emergency management center received notification of the incident at 9:20 p.m. on Thursday and dispatched firefighters from the Trinitarios fire station, an advanced life support ambulance (medicalized), a basic life support ambulance , and Foral Police patrols to the scene.
The incident occurred when the vehicle, which was parked on a public road in the town of Añezcar and contained two people, caught fire for unknown reasons. Both were able to get out of the car on their own, but suffered burns.

The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old woman with serious burns to her lower extremities and abdomen, was taken to the University Hospital of Navarra in an advanced life support ambulance and subsequently transferred to the Major Burns Unit at Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza.
The second occupant of the car is a 56-year-old man with minor burns and was transported by basic life support ambulance to the University Hospital of Navarra. Police officers are investigating the accident.
