An Israeli airstrike hit the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television (IRIB) building on Monday , immediately halting its live broadcast.
The blast occurred while a presenter was broadcasting live on television criticizing Israel, before she was seen leaving the broadcast, Iranian media reported, sharing a video of the attack.
The network resumed broadcasting after the attack. "The [Israeli] regime was unaware of the fact that the voice of the Islamic revolution and greater Iran will not be silenced by a military operation," said Hassan Abedini, a senior official at the broadcasting service.
Shortly before, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that Iranian state television and radio were "on the verge of disappearing."
The Israeli military also issued a call to evacuate the area where the media outlet's headquarters are located, in northeast Tehran.
"In the coming hours, Israeli armed forces will operate in the sector (...) to attack military infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime," wrote Colonel Avichay Adraee, an army spokesman.

"Citizens of Tehran, for your safety, please evacuate [this] area of the third district," he added.
This area, an upmarket neighborhood in the Iranian capital, houses, in addition to the IRIB, a major police building, the embassies of Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait, the office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), as well as the offices of AFP and several hospitals.
An AFP journalist also heard loud explosions in western Tehran.
Iran's warning to Tel Aviv citizens Iran warned Tel Aviv residents on Monday to immediately evacuate parts of the city where there is military infrastructure due to the possibility of further attacks, Press TV reported.
Iranian authorities have requested the evacuation of areas of the Israeli city near military infrastructure.
The Iranian army also issued a warning on Sunday night before launching the latest attacks, which left eight people dead in Haifa (north) and around Tel Aviv.
Search and rescue teams recovered the bodies of three people missing Monday morning in Haifa following Iranian attacks several hours earlier. Shortly before, police officers found the body of an elderly man in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, in a building adjacent to one hit by a missile.

Emergency services had already confirmed last night the deaths of two men and two women, all in their 70s, after impacts on at least one 20-story building in Petah Tikva, a city about 10 kilometers east of Tel Aviv.
Since early Thursday morning, Israel has been carrying out a massive bombing campaign against various locations in Iran, which has already caused 224 deaths and more than 1,000 injuries, according to Iranian authorities.
The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified the launch of this offensive by claiming that its intelligence had confirmed that the Iranian regime was advancing its plan to develop a nuclear bomb.
On the Israeli side, Iranian attacks launched in response over the past three days have killed at least 24 people, according to data provided this morning by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
At least eight of them died early this morning when ballistic missiles hit two buildings in the center and north of the country, the Israeli emergency service reported.
