“I was thinking about what career to choose, but I'd rather get my broom for my Halloween costume,” exclaimed one young woman upon seeing the teaser with Ariana Grande hovering over her music career.
According to data from PROFECO, broom sales have skyrocketed by 300% since the release of the movie trailer for the long-awaited sequel to the musical, causing thousands of fans to seriously reconsider studying at Hogwarts or moving to Oz.
Although the first installment of the saga was released just a few months ago, the Hollywood studio wasted no time and confirmed that the sequel is already in production. Hence the skyrocketing sales of brooms, green hair dye, and eyeliner that won't run even with the tears of a scorned witch.

Wicked 2 is expected to trigger a second peak in sales of pointy hats, black garbage bags used as capes, and stuffed black cats. And if the movie does well, divorces due to belting out songs in the shower will likely increase as well.
It is currently unknown whether Ariana will be allowed to eat during the filming of this sequel, unlike the first film, where she had to live on lettuce steam and stern glares from the director.
