Carlos Alcaraz has once again been a protagonist at the 2025 Wimbledon tournament, beyond his matches. The Spanish tennis player, who continues his journey toward the semifinals, had an unexpected moment at the end of his training session with Ben Shelton, when he received a surprise visit that ended with an invitation to play golf.
The meeting took place on court 16 of the All England Club, where Alcaraz had just finished his session prior to his quarterfinal match against Cameron Norrie. There, he was approached by British actor Tom Holland , known for his portrayal of Spider-Man, among many other roles, who not only took a photo with the Murcian, but also accepted his offer to share a round of golf .

"I saw you play golf too, nice swing," Alcaraz told him in English. To which Holland replied, "Yeah, yeah, we should play." The actor gestured for him to text him to arrange a meeting, to which the tennis player replied, "Absolutely." The brief but friendly conversation highlighted the tennis player's affinity with golf, a sport he had previously expressed enthusiasm for at several press conferences.
Actor Tom Holland, one of the most popular faces in the film industry today, didn't want to miss Alcaraz's training and showed himself to be friendly during the spontaneous meeting.
