90s Superman Dean Cain joins ICE to support Trump's immigration policy.

Dean Cain , best known for his role as Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in the 1990s, has announced that he will join U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to support President Donald Trump 's immigration policies.
In an interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters Primetime, Cain revealed that he received invitations from the agency after sharing an ICE recruitment video on Instagram—which gained notoriety after appearing on the show—and plans to be sworn in "as soon as possible."
Cain, 59, who has previous experience as a deputy sheriff and reserve police officer, explained that his move to ICE is a response to his conviction that the United States needs citizens willing to act "in defense of national security." The actor added that "this country was founded by patriots who acted even when it was unpopular... I believe I'm doing the right thing."
He also touted the appeals of ICE's call, such as a $50,000 bonus, student debt reimbursement , generous retirement plans, and even the elimination of the college degree requirement .
The announcement comes as the agency has received a historic funding allocation— about $75 billion —with the goal of adding 10,000 additional agents by 2029, as part of Trump's immigration agenda.
However, Cain's unexpected participation has generated a backlash. On the one hand, some accuse him of undermining the values that Superman represented; on the other, his eligibility has been questioned because he is over the usual age limit for joining the force, although there is speculation that the rules could be relaxed.
