Bombita cuts an ear in the second promotion round

Bombita cuts an ear in the second promotion round

Daniel Artazos , from the Valencia Bullfighting School, showed ease with the cape in receiving the first bull of the afternoon. He began with the muleta without any pressure on the right horn, although later in the performance, it was the side he found his best fit. The performance gradually improved, culminating with manoletinas. He killed the bull on his third attempt. Applause after a warning.

Manuel Quintana , from the Círculo Taurino School in Córdoba, showed off his fine style with the cape. The bull was tame, but Quintana knew how to force it into the muleta with determination. He particularly shone with his right-handed bullfighting. He killed the bull on his second attempt, and an ear was requested. He made a lap of the ring.

Javier Torres 'Bombita' performed with the verónica, gaining ground and finishing almost in the middle. He began the faena with beautiful passes assisted by the high pass. The first series with the right was very good, and the second was linked, with a bullfighting style that showed personality and good cut. The bull presented more difficulty with the natural pass and returned to the right. A high-level performance that ended with striking, sevillan-style passes. He killed with a sword thrust and cut off an ear.

Miguel Vázquez, also from Seville, encountered a somewhat protesting bull that he struggled to adapt to. The bull from Villamarta fell short, forcing him to lose pace. His best performance came with his right hand, taking advantage of the more accessible horn. He killed with a thrust and was silenced.

David Gutiérrez , from the Badajoz Provincial Bullfighting Board, showed skill and good form with the cape. With the muleta, he had a difficult task with a bull that was squeezing in on the right, which he stood up to without hesitation. He performed more comfortably with the natural pass, dominating his opponent with authority and skill. He returned after two warnings.

Clovis , from the Beziers Bullfighting School, was vibrant in the third of the banderillas and began the faena with the muleta on his knees. Clovis gave his all in a dedicated performance in which he took full advantage of his opponent. He killed the bull on his second attempt, and there was a request for an ear, which was not granted. He made one lap of the ring.
