According to the artist, the Shaman Cats series was born from a profound artistic quest: to merge contemporary aesthetics with symbols of ancestral wisdom. Each cat represents a human virtue—such as clarity, strength, or temperance—and is digitally constructed with hundreds of strokes, vibrational colors, and geometric patterns that invite contemplation.

These feline creatures are not only mystical guardians, but also visual messengers who seek to transform the spaces they inhabit. Each work is constructed with a special awareness of color as a frequency. See more: After a multi-million dollar investment in connectivity, a mega concert venue opens.

Tamayo studies chromatic vibrations and carefully selects each tone to emit a specific energy. For him, it's not just about aesthetics: each Shaman Cat is designed to transmit a vibrational field that positively influences the environment and those who observe it. Thus, art is not only contemplated, it is also felt—like a visual pulse that harmonizes, awakens, or strengthens.

I deeply believe that art shouldn't be confined to museums or galleries. Art can live in a home, be displayed on city streets, be a personal object, a piece of clothing … and still touch the soul of those who view it or wear it ,” says Tamayo.
