Mad Cool 2025: How to get there, access points, traffic closures, and public transportation alternatives
This weekend, the eighth edition of the Mad Cool festival is being held in Madrid at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde. From Olivia Rodrigo to Gracie Abrams , Noah Kahan , and Benson Boone , more than 70 renowned artists will perform on the venue's stages in front of an estimated 50,000 spectators per day. The concerts will take place from the 10th to the 13th, starting at 6:00 PM and lasting until 2:00 AM. Therefore, the Madrid and Getafe City Councils, the Government Delegation, the Getafe Local Police, the Madrid Municipal Police, the Civil Guard, and the National Police have planned special measures to ensure transportation.

Ticket prices range from €89 for standard one-day tickets to €219 for three-day tickets. On the 13th, a new space will debut within the festival: Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool, a unique DJ-led event.

Of the measures adopted to facilitate comings and goings to the venue, especially during the early hours, the Metro services will be extended until 3:30 (at the Villaverde Alto and Los Espartales stops, the closest) and Cercanías (at the Villaverde Alto and San Cristóbal Industrial stations), in any case reinforced from 1:30 with a shuttle service connecting Villaverde Alto to Sol and Atocha , respectively. There will also be a free shuttle bus service from Gran Vía in Villaverde with stops at Plaza de Legazpi and Atocha , as well as another from Getafe and a pedestrian crossing under the M-45 roundabout to the Iberdrola Music venue. There are still differences between some administrations in this last regard, however.
Traffic closure times may be altered depending on the needs determined by the police commanders in charge of the operation.

Some bus lines passing through the area may be detoured due to traffic closures. In any case, there are BiciMad stations near the San Cristóbal Industrial and Villaverde Alto stations. Moovit has all the information to confirm the best route by public transport .
