Mad Cool blames the blackout on the heat and guarantees that the rest of the festival will continue as normal.

Mad Cool blames the blackout on the heat and guarantees that the rest of the festival will continue as normal.

The Mad Cool festival has attributed the power outage experienced this Thursday between two of its stages to a technical issue caused by high temperatures. According to the organizers, the problem "temporarily" affected the technical team in that area.

In a statement released this Friday, the festival reported that the incident has been resolved by its technical team and assured that the entire program for the remaining three days "continues normally."

The organizers have expressed their gratitude for the public's understanding of this situation and reiterated their commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the event, which this Thursday featured headliners Iggy Pop, Gracie Abrams, Muse, and Weezer, among others.

On Thursday afternoon, a power outage occurred at the festival, interrupting some performances and forcing artists to stop performing. The following message was displayed on the screens to attendees: " For technical reasons, we have been forced to interrupt the show. We are working to resolve the issue. Please stay tuned for further communications and remain calm."
