María Antonia Mosquera Carvajal is Miss Valle 2025: What does the new queen of the department do?

The Valle del Cauca Beauty Committee (Combelleza) has named María Antonia Mosquera Carvajal the new Miss Valle del Cauca 2025.
The Valle del Cauca queen resides in Bogotá, where she works at a fashion and beauty consulting agency. In the country's capital, she is preparing for her participation in the Cartagena National Beauty Pageant, which will traditionally take place in the first half of November.

The new queen of Valle del Cauca was born in Cali, is 24 years old, and stands 1.81 meters tall. She enjoys fashion, singing, and songwriting.
'Tutu,' as his friends and family affectionately call him, holds a degree in Business Administration from CESA (College of Higher Studies in Administration) with an emphasis on Business Sustainability.
She also completed a diploma at Vogue College of Fashion (Madrid), which has helped her build a large community on social media, focusing on fashion and lifestyle.

Part of her life project, in her own words: “I work hard to continue motivating and connecting with many women through my social media, to inspire them to keep working toward their life goals, just as I have done myself. I started with a cell phone and a tripod, and today I'm an ambassador for brands I never imagined working with at 24.”

From a young age, she felt a special attraction to music, which led her to take piano lessons. She also plays the guitar, an instrument whose chords she learned the hard way. More than a hobby, music became her favorite pastime, to the point that she began composing and performing her own songs, six of which can be heard on her Spotify profile, "Tutu Mosquera."
His favorite song is "Otro beso," which has already been played nearly 200,000 times. Another of his great passions is dancing, especially salsa, a rhythm that distinguishes Cali as the world capital of this rhythm.

María Antonia is a high school graduate from Bolívar School in Cali, speaks English, and considers herself a person with clear goals.
“My main pillar, the most important pillar in my life, is my family. They are the ones who support me in every decision and who give me the strength to continue working toward my goals. My greatest wish is to continue growing alongside my community on social media, open more spaces to connect with women, and, later on, start a business in the fashion industry with Mariana, one of my sisters,” says the new Miss Valle 2025.

Her siblings, Mariana, Paulina, Federico, and Sebastián, will form a family troupe with their parents next November to accompany her to Cartagena and cheer for her at each of her performances.
Andrea Vélez, executive director of the Valle del Cauca Beauty Committee (Combelleza), shares her opinion on the woman who now has the responsibility of representing the people of Valle del Cauca in Cartagena: “María Antonia is a very beautiful woman with a personal and professional profile that is very focused on empowering women to achieve common goals, something we love. Her passion for music and dance makes her a very authentic and charismatic Cali native, aspects that will surely make her stand out in the pageant.”
With her 1.81 meters of height, her honey-colored eyes, her long blonde hair, her singer-songwriter facet and her life project focused on building a great community where achieving goals is the common objective, María Antonia Mosquera Carvajal is getting ready, with the help of Combelleza, to be present at the National Beauty Pageant in Cartagena next November.
The queen will receive the sash accrediting her as Miss Valle 2025 from the Governor's Office next Saturday, July 19, at the Buga Fair, in the Camilo J. Cabal Coliseum.
